The Development of Communication Network Clock Monitoring Equipment

Abstract

This paper develops a communication network clock monitoring device, which can provide users with long-distance real-time national standard time frequency signals, and can also monitor the internal network clock. The equipment is mainly composed of satellite card, time interval counter, signal generation and distribution module, main control module, remote communication module and other integration. It has the characteristics of small size, low cost, flexible system composition. In addition, a continuous satellite common-view comparison method is proposed to solve the 18.75% measurement blind zone of traditional satellite common view, and it can not meet the demand for continuous monitoring of the measured signal. According to the configured hardware, the device is divided into single-frequency and dual-band versions. Users only need to install any monitoring device locally. It can be used as a high-performance time-frequency reference source to provide users with real-time synchronization with national standard time, and solves the problem of high-precision synchronization between base stations in the communication time synchronization network. According to the test, it is concluded that the time-frequency signal of the dual-frequency version and the national standard time-frequency signal has a maximum deviation of 7.19 ns, the standard deviation is 1.49 ns, the frequency accuracy is 4.25e-14, and the time-frequency signal of the single-frequency version has a maximum deviation of 10.9 ns from the national standard time frequency signal, a standard deviation of 4.23 ns, and a frequency accuracy of 3.79e-14.
