Study on Characteristics of Several Quantum Key Distribution Protocols

 
 

Abstract


Based on the security problems emerged in development process of quantum key distribution, it is introduced that the working principles and basic process of three classical protocols including BB84 protocol, decoy-state protocol, measurement-device-independent protocol, and two new protocols including twin-field protocol, phase-matching protocol as the main line. We deduce the relationship between the key generation rate and channel transmission efficiency of each protocol, and simulate security transmission performance of the above-mentioned protocol. Finally, the characteristics of each protocol are compared analyzed. Relevant research results show that the security transmission performance of phase-matching protocol is better than the others.
