Abstract


In this paper, operational principle, switching technique, harmonic analysis and comparison between single phase three-level Diode clamped PWM and single phase three-level SPWM inverters are discussed. The switching sequence is realized using analog circuits. All the experimental data related to the harmonic content in the output voltage waveforms are taken from self-designed laboratory prototype model of single phase three-level PWM and SPWM Inverters and obtained results are analyzed, discussed, compared and concluded in the later sections.
