Grid Interfaced Single Stage Solar Water Pump Using SRM

Abstract

The intent of the paper is to develop a grid interfaced single stage solar water pumping system using switched reluctance motor with PV control technique. Photovoltaic systems being environmental friendly energy sources are crucial due to their feasibility which have their own precedence, but there are some issues that need to be considered. Hence need to build maximum efficiency photovoltaic power generation is still probing situation. Attainable and foremost way to solve the drawback is to track sun automatically. Accomplishment of PV modules is based on solar radiation and atmospheric temperature, which affect voltage, current and power characteristics. So a Controller is essential to diminish impact and to utilize power from PV array optimally. Different control techniques are used for tracking and also at present frame work pumping water using solar panels has gained a lot of surveillance. Present topic using utility grid is employed with switched reluctance motor. SRM possess dominance over other motors. Grid connected systems are on hike owing to its integrity, accuracy and endurability. Since there is a substantial advancement of solar, uncomplicated control scheme and design through conducting research of PV energized switched reluctance motor for applications of pumping is initiated by MATLAB simulation.
