Performance Analysis of A Current-fed Full Bridge Boost Converter With Passive and Active Clamp Circuit
Abstract
In this paper, an isolated bi-directional full bridge DC/DC converter, capable of transferring power between 400V dc bus and a 48V battery pack is presented. Passive and active clamp circuit, which is necessary for the proper working of the circuit, is explained and compared their performance. Working of soft start circuit is also explained. Simulation of the complete system is done using PSIM simulation tool and the results are given. A 2kw proto model is designed and the test results are also given.
