Modelling of wind energy conversion system with MPPT based pitch angle control for DC microgrid application
Abstract
The goal of this paper is to use MATLAB Simulink to monitor the maximum power available in the wind energy conversion system modelling for de microgrid applications. MPPT based pitch angle controller in this paper to monitor the maximum power generated by wind energy conversion system. WECS data which is liberated of the wind turbine and system specifications. In this paper used 3-phase diode bridge rectifiers and DC-DC buck converters as power electronics converters. In this paper also simplify the wind energy conversion system by monitoring and varying the pitch angle with the assistance of MPPT controller in order to keep track of the systems full capacity. As a result, WECS able to provide the full amount of power for DC microgrid applications
