Design and implementation of the control unit for DIC measurement system

Abstract

In this paper, a recently designed in situ sensing system named Channelized Optical System (CHANOS) is introduced The main aim of the system is to assist the scientists do research on ocean acidification using high-resolution CO2 concentration measurement instruments in sea water. The system can be used to measure total dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) in the sea water. The marine carbonate system can be estimated under the help of the determination done by this compact single sensor. The system is based on modular design thought, and it can be employed to accommodate for DIC according to spectrophoto-metric detection of H+ concentrations. This paper reports the whole design of system electrical system structure, describes the power control circuit and reference lADClDAC design. In the process of laboratory testing, the control unit suggests that the circuit design in CHANOS system can run stable and also meet the requirements of the system.
