Speech Enabled Handwriting Machine using CNC

Abstract

Human hand is a very complex system that can perform many useful tasks and its use cannot be precisely mimicked by any machine. People with vision impairments are required to learn different forms of languages such as the braille script to understand and communicate. When it comes to writing, the task becomes even more difficult, hence a simple yet accurate method has been proposed for the Person with disabilities (PWD) class. Our proposed framework will use voice as the medium to control the machine. The aim of this paper is to develop a machine which will help Person with disabilities (PWD) class to write. With the help of proposed model, the need of stenographers will be minimized as they are more error prone. The model focuses on having good accuracy at converting the speech to text and writing it down on the paper.
