Impact of Industrial Automation in Employability

Abstract

This paper evaluates the impact of implementing technologies to automate processes that replace labor in manufacturing industries. This work began with a general review of studies carried out in countries with high technological development, the aspects that provide the most influence are identified, taking into account the premises and points of view, for an analysis of Systemic SWOT and the use of a cross-weighted and validated impact matrix based on industry expert criteria. The impact, dependency and relationship with respect to the rate of employability in manufacturing industries operating in Ecuador, a developing country, are studied.
