Microwave Photonic Filter based on broadband source sliced by SMF-FMF-SMF structure
Abstract
In this paper, a microwave photonic filter (MPF) based on broadband source sliced by SMF-FMF-SMF (SFS) structure is proposed. The performances of the filter are investigated theoretically and experimentally. The response of proposed MPF has similar distribution to the spatial frequency spectrum G of siliced BOS. The effect of BOS on the performance of MPF are discussed by comparing the results of experiment and simulation. Compared with the traditional structure, the proposed MPF has the advantage of resisting external disturbance, which improves the reliability of the filter.
