The Influence of Entrepreneurial Environment and Entrepreneurial Cognitive Capital on Youth Entrepreneurial Motivation: Take Shenzhen as an Example

 
 
 
 
 

Abstract


On February 18 this year, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the “Outline of Development Planning for Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Dawan District”. As one of the central cities of Dawan District, Shenzhen City is receiving much attention from the society. This article takes Shenzhen as an example to study whether the entrepreneurial environment will further influence the motivation of young entrepreneurs by affecting the cognitive capital of entrepreneurs. Based on this assumption, we establish an structural model of Shenzhen entrepreneurial environment and entrepreneurial cognitive capital on entrepreneurial motivation to analysis. This paper uses the questionnaire survey method to analyze the 402 valid questionnaires and draws the following conclusions: The entrepreneurial environment has a significant positive impact on career achievement entrepreneurship motivation, opportunity entrepreneurship motivation, and survival entrepreneurship motivation; cognitive capital has a significant positive impact on career achievement entrepreneurship motivation, opportunity entrepreneurship motivation, and survival entrepreneurship motivation; entrepreneurial environment has a significant positive impact on cognitive capital, prove that the model is valid. At the same time, it is found that the six factors in the entrepreneurial environment also have a positive relationship with entrepreneurial motivation and cognitive capital. The paper analyzes and explains the data results, hoping to provide new ideas for studying the impact of the entrepreneurial environment on entrepreneurial motivation, and at the same time provide a reference for the Shenzhen Government to take measures to encourage young people to innovate and start businesses.
