The Analysis of Sound Sources in a Vehicle

Abstract

In connection with a transfer of noise and vibrations into the internal space (interior) and external space (surroundings) of a vehicle, the acoustics are regarded as a construction component part of the development of vehicles. There is a growing emphasis placed the acoustic comfort. While the pragmatic, material and functional criteria had been crucial in the past, the emotional and feeling demands or wishes of a vehicle user are important today. The high level of a vehicle drive overall comfort is of a crucial importance for the occupants of the vehicle from the point of view of the drive comfort. Authors of the paper highlights the importance of acoustics for the drive comfort of the vehicle occupants from the point of view of the drive comfort perception. Authors emphasize the importance of acoustics for the drive comfort of vehicle occupants, noise-related statutory requirements, the conceptual conditions and they present the typical sources of vehicle sound.
