Design and Development of Airflow Self-controlling Dust Filter Respirator in Dusty Environment
Abstract
In order to solve the problem that mine workers wear self-priming dust masks and feel stuffy, long-tube respirators are not conducive to work at the waist, and research on airflow self-controlling dust filter respirators in dusty environments has been carried out. The overall structure optimization design of the power-supply dust filter respirator was carried out, and the long-tube type was changed to the neck-wearing type. A combined dust filtering method of coarse filtration and fine filtration was proposed, and the hardware design and software design of the air flow automatic control system were completed, and experimental tests were carried out. The dust filter respirator can keep the mask in a positive pressure state for a long time, the peak inspiratory pressure is 70Pa, the response time of the air flow automatic control system is 130ms on average, and the respiratory protection effect and comfort are significantly improved.
