Wideband Circularly Polarized Arrow-Shaped Waveguide Slot Array Antenna

 
 
 
 
 

Abstract


This paper proposes a wideband circularly polarized slotted waveguide array antenna. The unite cell adopts arrow structure, radiation from inclined slots on the narrow wall of two standard waveguides. In this method, the amplitudes of the two orthogonal electric fields are consistent, and the wideband circular polarization is realized. A 4×10 array is designed and the simulated, the axial ratio(AR) bandwidth less than 3dB are achieved from 11GHz to 15GHz. The radiation efficency is more than 70%.
