Performance of Fractional order Robust Controller for LFC of EVs Integrated three area Deregulated Power System
Abstract
The frequency deviation in the electrical system as a result of the difference between production and load demand. The problem of load frequency control is a serious problem in an deregulated electrical system. The present paper Fractional Order ANN (FOANN) controller design for controlling the multiple area load frequency Solar -Thermal Power Plant (STPP) with integrated electrical vehicles (EVs) in deregulated environment. In the proposed works, a 3-area power system was considered in deregulated environment. The EVs are integrated to Maintain a balance of generation versus load in each control area. In 3- area power system Control Area-1 with Solar-Thermal Power Plant (STPP), control Area2 with a combination of thermal-gas turbine plants and control Area-3 with a combination of STTP-Thermal Power Plants. Every control area is integrated into an EV. The performance of the FOANN controller has been tested on a deregulated multi-source and integrated EV power system taking into consideration bilateral contacts.
