Simultaneous Measurements of Broadband Terahertz Properties of Crystals along Two Axes

Abstract

We suggest a method to simultaneously measure terahertz optical properties of crystals along two axes in terahertz time-domain spectroscopy using two broadband polarizers. We demonstrate the method by measuring temperature dependence of refractive index and absorption coefficient of lithium triborate crystal along different optical axes.
