A Device-to-Device System for Safety and Emergency Services of Mobile Users

Abstract

The upgraded relay technologies and device-to-device approaches function over the long-term evolution networks and they are being used for location-based systems (LBS). This paper presents a novel LBS for providing the safety support and emergency services for the mobile users such as monitoring, alert, and rescue services are supported especially in the events of natural or man-made disasters. These technologies target the emergency scenarios during and after disasters such as avalanches, and earthquakes.
