Optimization of the selection of power supply points for buildings equipped with PV installations in urban areas

 
 
 
 

Abstract


The development of distributed generation, and especially the installation of PV sources in low-voltage networks in highly urbanized areas, leads to the emergence of new challenges related to the maintenance of the required electrical energy parameters. One of such challenges is to change the direction of power flow in MV/LV stations. The article presents the possibilities of using heuristic optimization to solve the problem of selecting supply points in city networks with large PV generation. As an example, the cuckoo search algorithm has been described. As a criterion of optimization, the minimization of power losses was proposed.
