A Soft-Switched High Step-Up DC-DC Converter Using Voltage Multiplier Cells
Abstract
In this paper, a soft-switched high step-up dc-dc converter with an active clamping circuit is proposed. In this converter, it uses an active clamp circuit where it is capable to perform ZVS turn ON of switches and ZCS turn off of diodes. The important characteristics of the proposed converter are compared with several high step-up converters. The simulation results are used to verify performance and validity. The proposed converter efficiency was calculated as 98.95% for 500 W output load.
