Abstract

Optic fiber composite low voltage cable (OPLC) is a kind of special power cable, which is composed of optical fiber in the low voltage cable, so that the cable has the function of optical fiber communication at the same time of power transmission. OPLC is an important component in the power system. In the running state, the transient high temperature on the composite cable has a negative effect on the transmission performance of the optical fiber in the photoelectric composite low-voltage cable to some extent. Aiming at this problem, this article from the perspective of OPLC heat type, based on the structure characteristics of OPLC heat-resistant type, and optimization method, using simulation software COMSOL more physical field, electromagnetic field theory, the basic theory, such as heat transfer of different working condition of different structure type heat resistant OPLC simulation modeling, explores the endurance of OPLC simulation analysis method, The thermal effect data of heat-resistant OPLC under different working conditions were obtained to further verify the structural effectiveness of heat-resistant OPLC.
