Experimental and Theoretical Evidence of Photocurrent Amplification in Hybrid Material Based on Dibenzo-18-Crown-6

 
 
 

Abstract


Theoretical and experimental studies on cation induced photocurrent amplification effect based on hybrid materials are presented. Ion sensing properties of dibenzo18-crown-6 ether and interactions between multi- walled carbon nanotubes and dibenzo18-crown-6 ether are stated as responsible for enhancing photocurrent intensity during photoelectrochemical measurements.
