Magnetization-Free Micro-Tag for Biometric Identification Under Water

Abstract

For this study, a novel magnetization-free micro-magnetic tag is proposed and fabricated with low cost to make tracking living bodies under water condition to establish a system for biometric identification within short time. A sensor using Magneto-Optics was employed as a high throughput sensing by 2D data. In order to magnify the sensing ability, FEM analysis has successfully optimized the configurations of external magnetic field and additional Yoke module using double layer structure. It is suggested that the sensing distance can be extended as twice as that of the conventional results.
