The Optimization Scheme of Police Digital Truking Communication Network in Hilly Terrain
Abstract
The background of Police Digital Trunking (PDT) communication network and the importance of the information construction in the emergency command system for the public security department is introducing. The technical principles and advantages of this communication network are expounding. The PDT communication network in YT area which is typically hilly terrain is used as a case. Four new signal base stations were designed using wireless signal propagation models and local parameters. The signal simulation and comparison of the original four base stations and the new four base stations are carried out. The results of wireless signal coverage, up-link and down-link signal strength simulation are obtained. This PDT network optimization scheme in this area is good to solve practical engineering problems of PDT communication network in the hilly area.
