The Pump Hydraulic Load Effect Determination on the Parameters of an Frequency-Controlled Asynchronous Electric Drive
Abstract
The article presents a simulation of a frequency-controlled electric drive for a centrifugal pump. The relevance of the work is due to the widespread use of centrifugal pump units with frequency-controlled induction motors. It is important to investigate the dynamic characteristics of these systems. This allows coordinating the operation modes of their elements and analyzing the power redistribution features. To solve this problem, the article presents a simulation model of a fluid pumping station. Using the simulation model, a real three-phase inverter-induction motor-centrifugal pump system was simulated. System simulation results are presented in the article. The electric drive transient s comparisons at various static backpressure values are shown. The hydraulic load parameters influence on the electric drive mechanical characteristic is noted. The developed methodology effectiveness for calculating the characteristics is shown. The various physical parameters mutual influence of frequency-controlled induction motors for centrifugal pump units on each other is considered.
