Abstract

This paper proposes an overview on state-of-the-art analysis and future research directions in the context of big data management and analytics in intelligent smart environments, with particular regards to intelligent transportation and logistics systems. We outline relevant work in this scientific area and provide relevant research directions that may represent a milestone for future years.
