DCM Low Frequency Oscillation in valley V2 Controlled Boost Converter
Abstract
Discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) low frequency oscillation in valley V2 controlled boost converter is studied. Based on the derivations of borderlines in DCM, two-dimensional discrete-time model of valley V2 controlled boost converter is established, upon which the dynamics of V2 control boost converter is investigated and DCM low frequency oscillation is revealed by using the bifurcation diagram. Furthermore, the condition of DCM low frequency oscillation is derived by circuit analysis. The research results verified by simulation and experimental measurements indicate that DCM low frequency oscillation is related to circuit parameters and small values of circuit parameters $r_{\\mathrm{e}}, C$ or $R$ give rise to it easily.
