Abstract

Chong et al., discuss for various models of experimental glaucoma filtration surgery and look at future steps in evaluating potential therapeutics and bleb characteristics. The current knowledge on the human eye microbiome research with a particular focus on potential confounding factors and their effects on microbiome composition is systemically reviewed by Delbeke et al. Fischer ́s et al. in a systematic review and meta-analysis of surgical techniques and outcomes conclude that surgery seems to be effective in improving visual acuity and visual field deficits in spheno-orbital meningioma.
