Abstract

The demonstration of Wickham s striae (WS) under dermoscope is considered as the diagnostic hallmark of lichen planus (LP). 1 In the present study, we aimed to delineate the dermoscopic differences observed in lichen planus (LP) between contact polarized versus nonpolarized mode. This retrospective study was conducted in a tertiary care hospital in East India from August 2019 to March 2020 after approval from the institute ethics committee. Inclusion criteria were; (a) Cases with clinical and pathological features consistent with classical lichen planus, (b) The availability of the clinical and dermoscopic images.
