Abstract
The authors wish to bring the readers’ attention to errors published in the Oral ePoster abstract entitled “OPP-0050 Role of cold snare polypectomy and cold forceps polypectomy for resection of ≤9 mm colorectal polyps: A systematic review” by Muhammad et al. The size mentioned in the title, Background and Aim, and Conclusion was incorrect in the published version. It should be “≤9 mm” instead of “≥9 mm”. The title should thus read: OPP-0050 Role of cold snare polypectomy and cold forceps polypectomy for resection of ≤9 mm colorectal polyps: A systematic review The Background and Aim should thus read: Background and Aim: Proper surveillance techniques can decrease the incidence of colorectal cancer. Colonoscopy with polypectomy is one of the best available methods. We aimed to compare the cold snare polypectomy (CSP) and cold forceps polypectomy (CFP) techniques for complete resection rate and procedure-related complications in ≤9 mm colorectal polyps. The Conclusion should thus read: Conclusion: CSP should be regarded as the primary method compared to CFP for the endoscopic removal of ≤9 mm colorectal polyps. The authors apologize for these errors.
