Modeling of the Recrystallization Processes during Asymmetric Rolling of a High-Strength Low-Alloy Steel
Abstract
Abstract The influence of the temperature–deformation parameters on the development of dynamic recrystallization in a structural low-carbon low-alloy steel during asymmetric rolling is studied. The dependence of the recrystallized grain size on the temperature and degree of deformation is determined. A map of the recrystallized grain distribution over the cross section of the billet is plotted as a function of the deformation parameters in rolling using finite element modeling.
