Synthesis of Precursors of Complex Oxide Systems Using Electrogenerated Reagents

Abstract

Abstract The scientific foundations for the synthesis of precursors of nanostructured oxide systems Al 2 O 3 –ZrO 2 –M x O y (M = Mg, Y) are developed. The processes occurring during the formation of precursors of such systems based on aluminum and zirconium oxides under conditions of the rapid mixing of electrogenerated reagents, implemented in a diaphragmless coaxial electrolyser reactor, are studied. The anodic processes and particle morphology, as well as the phase, granulometric, and elemental compositions of precursors and oxide systems, are investigated using the methods of laser diffraction, X-ray diffractometry, potentiometric measurements, and X-ray fluorescent and thermal analyses. The proposed approach makes it possible to obtain complex oxide systems based on the Al 2 O 3 –ZrO 2 characterized by the presence in them of the phase of tetragonal zirconium dioxide, which is stable over a wide range of temperature values.
