Increasing Adhesion between Components of the Polyethylene–Polychloroprene Mixture When Using Nanofillers
Abstract
This paper investigates the increase in adhesion between polymer components of a dynamically vulcanized mixture of polyethylene and polychloroprene with the introduction of carbon black or aerosil. It is shown that the observed phenomenon is due to the bonding of dissimilar polymers through filler particles concentrated at the interface of polymer phases.
