Analysis of the Functional Manifestation of Plant Landscape Management on Urban Roads

Abstract

In recent years, the process of urbanization in my country has been accelerating, the scale of cities is also gradually expanding, and various public infrastructure construction projects are increasing. In the construction of urban roads, it is necessary to construct the main body of the road and auxiliary facilities, as well as to configure the corresponding road landscape in it to show a high-quality aesthetic effect and provide better services to urban residents. In this paper, the selected survey objects include Road 1 and Road 2. The contents of the survey include the types of green plants, the combination of plants, the growth status, the ratio of the width of the green belt to the width of the canopy, etc. Experimental data shows that one side of the road is relatively narrow, and the buildings on both sides are dominated by arcades, and there is not enough space reserved for sidewalk green belts. The trees on both sides of the road grow obliquely toward the middle of the road, making the road easily congested. The experimental results show that the main plant landscape of road 1 is Neem, the tree height of Neem is 6-22m, the tree spacing is 7m, the crown width is 6-9m, and the trunk height is 4-5m. This paper analyzes the concept of urban road landscape design, studies the principles of the configuration of landscape plants in urban roads, and finally summarizes the configuration methods of landscape plants in urban road landscapes.
