and discuss three different psychological perspectives toward studying emotion that have strongly influenced emotion modeling in SIAs. I will motivate why SIAs can make constructive use of emotions. In Section 10.2, I cover computational representation of affective concepts and four approaches toward computational modeling of appraisal. I also give four working examples.
