Abstract

Once a year Leonardo publishes the SIGGRAPH issue of Leonardo journal, which is the result of an ongoing collaboration between Leonardo and ACM SIGGRAPH to showcase the community of artists, designers and scholars working with computer graphics and interactive technologies. Leonardo/ISAST and SIGGRAPH are pleased to present the eleventh edition of SIGGRAPH Art Papers showcasing research that explores innovative and provocative projects in a self-reflective manner: multiple views or entry points, multicultural translation and multigenerational communication. The theme of this year’s Art Gallery was “Proliferating Possibilities: Speculative Futures in Art and Design.” What solutions might we need to thrive in a future full of promise and unknowns?
