Book Review: Assessment in Second Language Pronunciation

Abstract

seem overwhelming in that it requires the ability to cope with both content knowledge in different disciplines and the issues of response processes research. Nevertheless, the book will be useful for language testing researchers because it provides experienced researchers with comprehensive and novel applications of contextualized, dynamic validation frameworks of response processes, while it also assists those with less experience to build a solid cornerstone for response processes research. All in all, Zumbo and Hubley’s edited volume is a beneficial resource that broadens both conceptual underpinnings and practical applications of response processes in validation.
