Abstract. Irmadamayanti A, Muchtar, Wahyuni AN, Saidah. 2018. Adaptation of several groundnut varieties in Donggala District, Sulawesi Tengah. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 5: 272-275. In Indonesia, groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) are the most important agricultural commodities after soybeans which have a strategic role in national food as a source of protein and vegetable oils. High yielding varieties are one of component production that affects productivity. Groundnut varieties genetically have different abilities to survive in an area. The objectives of this research were to obtain high yielding and adaptive groundnut varieties in Donggala District, Central Sulawesi. This research was conducted in Labuan Toposo Village, Labuan Subdistrict, Donggala District, Central Sulawesi Tengah Province, which is one of the rice granary districts and groundnut development areas. This research was conducted from May 2017 to Agustus 2017. This research was designed using a Randomized Block Design non Factorial consisting of 4 treatments of varieties, that are Domba varieties, Nulion 1 varieties, Nulion 2 varieties, and a local (existing) varieties and repeated 6 times, so that the total experimental plot was 24 plots. The observations included plant height, number of branches/clumps, number of filled pods, weight of 100 seeds, and dried pod yield. To determine the effect of treatment, analysis of variance was carried out with the SAS program, then continued with Duncan s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) with a level of 5% if the results of variance showed significant differences. The results showed that the differences of groundnut varieties gave a significant effect on plant height, number of branches, number of filled pods, weight of 100 seeds, and yield. Productivity of Domba varieties is the highest among varieties that have been tested, which is 3.72 tons/ha.
