Abstract

Changing horizons, declinations of the citizenship Citizenship, space, borders, cartography, modernity, statehood, administration how those terms are interconnected in a crossed scales game? A first answer shines through the reading of the essays which have been recollected here. The objective has been to create a dialogue between approaches and languages essentially matured from diverse itineraries, which created a critical debate, where the warp of a common discourse would have woven, unfolding along different patterns and declinations. A multifaced interpretative kaleidoscope appears, with potential topics to be elaborated, with a richness, in many ways, still to be explored. Through the various contributions, the proposed approach reveals an original metadisciplinar physiognomy, which follows a “reflexive epistemology” aimed at defining a disciplinary statute of the Geography as “history of the present”. Horizons changeante, declinations de la citoyennete Citoyennete, espace, frontieres, cartographie, modernite, construction etatique, administration: comment ces concepts sont connectes entre eux dans un jeu d’echelles croisees ? Une premiere reponse emerge a travers la lecture des essayes qui ont ete collectes ici. Des differents approches et langages – developpes a partir d’itineraires differents – ont ete mene a dialoguer, tout en donnant lieu a un debat critique dans lequel on a essaye de tisser \xa0la chaine a voulu etre tissue pour promouvoir un discours commun qui se deroule tout au long d’itineraires et de declinaisons diversifies. Un kaleidoscope de facettes interpretatives apparait, avec des issues potentielles a approfondir et avec une richesse pour certains aspects encore toute a explorer. A travers les differentes contributions, l’approche proposee esquisse une originelle physionomie metadisciplinaire, dans le sillage d’une «epistemologie reflexive\xa0»\xa0orientee a la definition du statut disciplinaire de la Geographie en tant que\xa0«histoire du present».
