Quantifying Cloud Radiative Effects with Overlying Aerosol using Hyperspectral Transmitted Light

Abstract

Aerosol overlying clouds increase uncertainty of standard remotely sensed properties. We present results of a hyperspectral-based retrieval technique to obtain cloud properties, and its calculated radiative effect, from cloud-transmitted light.
