Necrocapitalismo y marginalidad: representación de los residuos sociales en la literatura latinoamericana del narcotráfico

 

Abstract


In this article, we propose that narco-fiction constantly presents characters and spaces with high social marginalization, as a consequence of a prevailing neoliberal capitalism, which produces new forms of market and control from the phenomenon of drug trafficking. In this way, we carried out a general review of a set of narco-soap operas that deal with drug transfer and economic exclusion as a central theme. Our analysis starts from the emblematic novels La virgen de los sicarios, Rosario Tijeras, Contrabando y Trabajos del reino, which have explored this concern since the 1990s, which in contemporary Latin American literature is already a permanent topic.
