Abstract
Contemporary education requires both the student and the teacher to go beyond themselves. It requires moving away from authoritarian relations towards a „wise educator”, one that will see a partner and an equal in a child, student, teacher, parent, and the local community. This perception of equality results from the dignity of every human being. The value of dignity cannot be diminished through incorrect relations or misunderstandings. Everyone deserves it, because of its supernatural character. For this reason, it is necessary to create conditions conducive to deepening relations with all participating in education . These are the student, the teacher, the parent, and the local community. All these elements must work together to develop the ability to build in a young person a specific system of values, norms, and behaviors, which is supported by axiological education.
