PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS III

 
 
 

Abstract


: R esearch background of low understanding of mathematical concepts on thematic themes copied 6 Beautiful Friendship on the content of mathematic. This study aims to describe: (1) implementation of learning by applying a realistic mathematical approach to improve the ability of understanding the concept of mathematics students class III SDN 194 Sukajadi, and (2) improving the students understanding of mathematical concept of class III SDN Subdistrict Sukajadi City Bandung by applying realistic mathematical approach. This research use d Classroom Action Research Method (PTK) with Kemmis and Mc.Taggart model that starts planning, action, observation and reflection, which then made improvement planning for use in the next cycle. This research was conducted in two cycles.Participants of this study are students of class III which amounted to 29 students in the school year 2017/ 2018 .The results showed that classical completeness of cycle I was 44.83% and an increase in cycle II of classical completeness of 93.10%.Based on the results of this study can be conclude s that the understanding of mathematical concepts of grade IIIPrimaryS chool students can be improved by applying realistic mathematical approach.
