Abstract


This work explored the possibilities of the relationship between the principles of Universal Learning Design (ULD) and the teaching of Climatology for the elaboration of didactic materials, aiming at integrating students in the classroom and facilitating the teacher s work. To this end, we produced a book model in physical and e-book formats with the Clouds theme and issues related to the hydrological cycle and atmosphere structure. In the e-book, the contents have also addressed Climate Change issues. Climatology is justified as a theme because it is a subject present in everyone s daily life; however, the population generally does not understand its concepts. We conclude that the material process preparation, when using the principles of DUA since the beginning, can globally explore methodologies and tools that expand the learning opportunities for all people, including the target audience of Special Education.
