Can newly developed device contribute to improve outcome of laparoscopic liver resection

Abstract

In the initiation phase of laparoscopic liver resection (LLR), studies from Western countries reported LLR in benign legions of the liver (1,2). In 1993, we experienced laparoscopic partial liver resection for both of primary and metastatic malignancy, with liver cirrhosis occasionally.
