فعالية برنامج تدريبي قائم على استراتيجية التنظيم الذاتي الانفعالي وأثره على خفض قلق التفاعل الاجتماعي لدي الاطفال The Effectiveness of a Training Program Based on Emotional Self-Regulation Strategy and its Impact on Reducing the Social Interaction Anxiety among Children

 

Abstract


The present study aimed to investigate the effect of a training program based on the strategy of emotional self-regulation on reducing the Social Interaction Anxiety among children of the first elementary grades. The sample of the study consisted of (40) children suffering from the problem of social interaction anxiety with a high degree, and their ages ranged from (7-9 years) and of an average socio-economic level. They were randomly divided into two control and experimental groups of each of them (20) children and the training program was applied to them. With the aim of reducing the Social Interaction Anxiety, for a period of two and a half months, by (20) training sessions. The results of the study resulted in statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group children in the pre / post measurement on the social interaction anxiety scale in favor of the post measurement, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups on the dimensions of the social interaction anxiety scale in the pre / post measurement in favor of the experimental group, and there are also differences between the average scores of females and males in the pre / post measurements in the direction of ةلجم تاسا رد ف ي ةيبرتلاو ةلوفطلا – طويسا ةعماج ___________________________________________________________ 86 ددعلا عباسلا رشع – ليربأ 2021 م the post-measurement in favor of males, There are differences between the average scores of males on the scale of social interaction anxiety in the first, second and fourth dimensions that are higher than the average scores for females, in contrast to the lower scores of males than females in the third dimension of anxiety related to the appearance of physical symptoms, which indicates that the degree of social interaction anxiety decreases more than males generally. and there are statistically significant differences in the mean scores of the children of the experimental group in the post and tracer measures on the scale of social interaction anxiety in favor of the tracer measurement. Which indicates the effectiveness of the training program in reducing the anxiety of social interaction among the study sample, and in light of these results the current study provides a training program that can be used by teachers and caregivers with the aim of reducing this emotional problem and helping to equip the child with many skills Which helps him/her to be more socially and emotionally adapted.
