THE COMPETENCE OF HISTORY TEACHER IN IMPLEMENTING THE AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENT : A CASE STUDY AT SMA NEGERI 2 YOGYAKARTA

 

Abstract


ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana: \xa01) realitas sistem penilaian pembelajaran sejarah di SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta selama ini, 2) kemampuan guru sejarah dalam mengembangkan instrumen penilaian otentik, 3) kompetensi guru sejarah dalam implementasi penilaian otentik, dan 4) kemampuan guru sejarah dalam mengolah hasil pengukuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) realitas sistem penilaian mengikuti rambu-rambu penilaian dalam Kurikulum 2013; 2) guru sejarah cukup mampu dalam mengembangkan instrumen penilaian otentik dibuktikan dengan instrumen penilaian yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan tuntutan kompetensi inti dan kompetensi dasar, 3) kemampuan guru sejarah dalam implementasi penilaian otentik cukup baik di mana ada kesesuaian antara instrumen yang dikembangkan dengan penerapannya dalam penilaian, dan 4) kemampuan guru sejarah dalam pengolahan hasil pengukuran cukup baik terbukti dengan dianalisisnya seluruh hasil pengukuran untuk dilakukan penilaian dan evaluasi. Simpulan penelitian ini, guru sejarah SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta mampu menerapkan penilaian otentik. Kata kunci : kompetensi, guru sejarah, dan penilaian otentik. ABSTRACT The aims of this study were to find out: 1) the assessment system reality of teaching and learning of history subject at SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta; 2) the competence of history teacher in developing the instrument of authentic assessment; 3) the competence of history teacher in implementing authentic assessment; and 4) the competence of history teacher in processing the assessment result. The result of the study showed that: 1) the assessment system reality has followed the assessment guidance of Curriculum 2013 ; 2) the competence of history teacher in developing authentic assessment instrument has improved; 3) the competence of history teacher competence was good in implementing authentic assessment where there have been compatibility between developed instrument and assessment implementation; and 4) the competence of history teacher in processing the measurement result was good. The conclusion of this research, the teacher of SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta is competence in implementing authentic assessment. Key words: competence, history teacher, and authentic assessment.
