IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DE CURSOS NA MODALIDADE EAD: ESTUDO DE CASO EM UMA INSTITUIÇÃO DE ENSINO MÉDIO

 
 
 

Abstract


Distance Education has established itself as an efficient form of education. However, most of the courses created are upper-level. This work had as a general objective the study with the purpose of implementing courses in the modality of Distance Education for High School and Technical Courses. The institution chosen was a private school located in the city of Duque de Caxias / RJ. There, a Virtual Learning Environment was implemented, three disciplines were developed and the degree of acceptance of the student researched was regardingrelated to this new form of education. We also searched the legal basis and the criteria for accreditation, authorization, functioning of the Distance Education course. Data were collected using two structured questionnaires. One questionnaire to evaluate the student s satisfaction with the Distance Education and the other to verify if the school unit meets the quality criteria for the implementation of Distance Education courses. The results revealed that it is feasible to use Moodle software resources in High School and Technical Courses and to implement courses and disciplines in the modality.
