FÉ CRISTÃ E CONTEÚDOS CIENTÍFICOS NAS AULAS DE CIÊNCIAS DA NATUREZA: UMA ANÁLISE A PARTIR DE TRABALHOS PUBLICADOS NOS ÚLTIMOS ANOS

 
 

Abstract


Resumo An analysis of published works on difficulties of conciliation between scientific knowledge and Christian beliefs by students and future science teachers is presented. The following were identified: conflicting theories and their relevance; the reactions of students and future teachers to the study or teaching of these theories; conceptions of religious beliefs presented by the authors of the works and by those under investigation; and the possibilities of relationship between science and faith presented. The results confirm the recurrence of a problematic relationship between some scientific content and Christian beliefs in the Brazilian educational environment.
