Load Frequency Control of Water-Fire-Storage-Two Region Interconnected Power System Based on Improved Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm
Abstract
Due to the difficulty of frequency regulation in the water-fire storage hybrid power system, an energy storage battery is introduced into the power system. A load frequency control (LFC) model of a water-fire-storage-two region interconnected power system is established in this paper. Subsequently, the improved particle swarm optimization (IB-PSO) algorithm based on an improved beetle antennae search algorithm is proposed to turn the PID parameters for each area. Finally, two typical benchmarks of CEC14 and a simulation example are provided to show that the method proposed in this paper has better antiinterference ability than the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm and beetle antennae search (BAS) algorithm. So the PID parameters obtained by the IB-PSO algorithm make the dynamics of the power system more stable.
