A Suspended Line to Waveguide Transition for Dual-polarized Slotted Waveguide Array Antenna
Abstract
This paper presents a suspended line to waveguide transition for slotted waveguide array antenna. In the proposed transition, slotted waveguides are fed by waveguide T-junctions. The input port of the T-junction is connected to the suspended lines, which run parallel to the axis of the slotted waveguides, with a slot. The simulated bandwidth with a reflection coefficient less than –20dB is 3.3% for the transition for vertical polarization and 2.3% for the transition for horizontal polarization.
